UT San Diego featured our fall escape to Paso Robles in its recent travel section. For starters:

  • Paso Robles has grown up in the past decade but thankfully not all the way.
  • The rustic downtown has added trendy restaurants, designer boutiques and gourmet shops, yet small-town charm remains all around. Cruise the back roads and connect with nature and indulge your senses at wineries, small cafes and working farms tucked away on hillsides and along the colorful canyon roads. Stroll around the central park and neighboring streets, which is a daily ritual for many, and you are more likely to hear birds chirping in the trees and children laughing than the din of traffic.
